Nine weeks that change how you see yourself — and how the world sees you.

The program is fully online and self-paced — 3 to 5 hours per week, designed to fit around your studies and your life. But it’s not something you do alone. You’ll move through nine weeks as part of a global cohort, with live masterclasses, peer learning, and a community that extends well beyond graduation.

What You Leave With

Every graduate receives a free certificate of completion, your record of nine weeks of Harvard-quality leadership development. New in 2026, you can also add a verifiable e-credential bundle with unique URLs for $5, including: a digital certificate signed by Aspire’s co-founders and a personalized letter. That $5 also goes directly toward keeping the Aspire Leaders Program free for the next first-generation student who needs it.

Beryl Mungai
ALP Graduate • Kenya • Kwa Ground Shuleni

Beryl saw the mental health crisis quietly devastating young people in Kenya — and she had the drive to act. The Aspire Leaders Program gave her the leadership framework to turn that drive into a structured initiative, the Community Action Award to fund it, and a network of mentors to help her sustain it. Kwa Ground Shuleni now operates across multiple schools in Kenya, providing peer support programs and mental health first-aid training to students who had no other access.

Aspire alumni who complete a qualifying community project can apply for support and recognition through the Community Impact Initiative, including access to the Community Action Award (up to $5,000).

This program was built for you.

If you’re a university student or recent graduate, 18 to 29 years old, from a limited-income or first-generation background — you’re exactly who Aspire was designed for. The application takes 10 minutes. If you meet the criteria, you’re in.

No essays. No recommendation letters. No cost.

  • How do I know if I qualify?

Eligibility is self-identified — you know your story better than anyone. “First-generation” means you’re among the first in your immediate family to attend university. “Limited-income” means your financial circumstances had a limiting impact on your access to educational opportunities. You must be 18–29 years old and currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program (undergraduate or postgraduate, including master’s and PhD students). No documentation required.

  • Is the program really free?

Yes — completely. No tuition, no application fee, no cost at any point. The only thing you need is 10 minutes and an internet connection.

  • How much time does it take each week?

The program is self-paced and part-time — most participants spend 3 to 5 hours per week. It’s designed to fit around your coursework, job, and other commitments, with live masterclasses scheduled throughout that you can join from anywhere.
