Mission

To prepare low-income, first-generation college students worldwide to be leaders in their communities and reach their full potential academically and professionally through a fully funded leadership development program.

We believe in treating all people with respect, regardless of differences in nationality, faith, or identity. As a diverse global community, we want to create an inspiring and welcoming place for learning and communication. Aspire Institute does not support terrorism, hate, discrimination, or prejudice toward anyone. We invite anyone who joins our global network to act with this spirit of inclusion, empathy, and humanity as we work toward making a difference in the world.

History

2017


The Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program (CELP) was launched from the Mittal South Asia Institute at Harvard, in partnership with the Harvard Club of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council).

2021


In October 2021 the Aspire Institute was launched as a spin off from Harvard as an independent non-profit. The Aspire Institute replaced the Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program.
