Aspire Institute replaced the Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program in Fall 2021 and wrapped up with an impressive group of 2021 finalists. We reached thousands of students across 135 countries. Our finalist class of 114 students was a diverse group of aspiring leaders, 47% Male and 53% Female, from cities across the Middle East, South Asia, Central & East Asia, Africa, and the Americas. These low-income students participated in fully-funded HarvardX courses across disciplines and vibrant sessions connecting them directly to industry and academic leaders from Harvard and beyond.

Since completing the five-stage program over the course of eight months, the class of finalists were offered Extended Learning Opportunities — including the Community Action Awards, Academic and Professional Development Grants, a Mentorship by Harvard Business School alums, internship in their country of residence. Read more about the Community Action Award winners and stay tuned to hear about the outstanding young leaders who will receive grants to further their academic and professional endeavors.
