March 27, 2026

Our organization is deepening its commitment to young leaders around the world with an expanded suite of opportunities for Aspire Leaders Program (ALP) alumni. Through the launch of ELP Pathways and expanded 2026 Financial Award Programs, Aspire is equipping alumni with the resources, funding, and community they need to pursue bold ambitions in entrepreneurship, higher education/research, career development, and beyond.

These updates are part of the Extended Leadership Program (ELP), the next phase of the Aspire journey. ELP is designed to meet alumni where they are, connecting them to tailored opportunities that support their evolving goals, sharpen their purpose, and accelerate their professional growth.

This year also brings an important eligibility change that opens more doors for alumni at every stage of their journey.

Opportunity Without a Timeline

Beginning in 2026, ALP graduates can apply for Aspire funding opportunities at any point in their alumni journey, as long as they have not previously received an award within the same program.

This change replaces the previous time-restricted model and reflects a more flexible, inclusive philosophy: Aspire graduates can now pursue support when it matters most — when opportunity meets readiness. Whether launching a venture, applying to graduate school, or advancing in a career, graduates can access funding aligned with where they are today, not just when they completed the program.

Personalized Journeys, Shared Growth

At the heart of this expansion are three self-guided tracks. ELP Pathways are designed to help alumni take the next step in their journey on their own terms while remaining connected to a global community of peers and mentors. Each pathway offers curated resources, learning opportunities, and funding aligned to specific goals:

  • Entrepreneurship: Supporting alumni in launching ventures and addressing critical social challenges
  • Higher Education & Research: Guiding alumni toward advanced degrees and academic achievement
  • Career Development: Empowering professional growth, skill-building, and career advancement

Within each pathway, participants engage in intentional communities that foster growth through mentorship, networking, partnerships, and access to targeted grants. Together, these pathways represent a shift toward a more personalized, scalable, and impactful alumni experience, one that continues long after the Aspire Leaders Program ends.

Investing in Potential and Fueling Impact

Alumni may apply to funding opportunities that will help them advance toward their goals after they complete the Aspire Leaders Program. Six programs are available this year, spanning entrepreneurship, academic advancement, career readiness, and global collaboration.

Seed Fund

The Seed Fundprovides early-stage funding to Aspire Leaders Program graduates developing promising social ventures, entrepreneurial initiatives, or research projects with the potential for real-world impact. Graduates can be awarded up to $500 through this grant.

Gabriel Agbeshie, a 2025 ALP alumnus and Seed Fund Winner, is improving access to essential eye care for children in underserved communities in Ghana through his initiative iScreen4Kids.

The initiative has already reached over 170 students and provides free, on-site eye screenings in schools, enabling Agbeshie and his team to identify early signs of visual impairments in 22 cases and providing free eyeglasses to those in need.

Community Action Award

The Community Action Award (CAA) provides advanced funding to Aspire Leaders Program graduates who are ready to scale a proven social impact initiative or business venture. This award supports projects that have achieved a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or demonstrated proof of concept, signaling clear readiness for growth, sustainability, and expanded community impact. Graduates can be awarded up to $5000 through this grant.

Lily Tang, a 2024 ALP alumna and 2025 CAA winner, empowers Indigenous Atayal youth through her project — Stories of Indigenous Taiwan x Sinnoya Hope Farm Initiative — to lead sustainable, culturally grounded agricultural enterprises that regenerate the land and preserve ancestral knowledge.

She also leveraged her grant to secure a fellowship with the Global Alliance for a Sustainable Planet, continuing her work in advancing global sustainability efforts.

Academic Advancement Grant

The Academic Advancement Grant (AAG) provides financial support to Aspire Leaders Program graduates by covering the registration fees for internationally recognized standardized exams.  Graduates can be awarded up to $300 through this grant.

Skills Advancement Grant

The Skills Advancement Grant (SAG) provides financial support to Aspire Leaders Program graduates by covering the fees for certifications, online programs, and skill-building opportunities that enhance their employability and career growth. Graduates can be awarded up to $200 through this grant.

Conference Grant

The Conference Grant supports Aspire Leaders Program alumni who have been selected to present their original research or innovation projects at international or regional conferences, summits, forums, and similar convenings. Note: You must have already been accepted to present at a qualifying event to apply. Graduates can be awarded up to $1000 through this grant.

Aspire Reunited Grant

Aspire Reunited provides financial support for cross-country collaboration initiatives among Aspire alumni. Born from a successful pilot and strong alumni interest in global networking, this award encourages teams to build high-impact projects together across borders. Graduates can be awarded up to $500 through this grant.

Looking Ahead

With the launch of ELP Pathways and expanded funding opportunities, Aspire is not just supporting our alumni’s next steps — we’re redefining what long-term leadership development can look like.

Because leadership doesn’t end with a program. It evolves. It grows. It takes shape over time.

Aspire is ensuring that wherever our leaders go, they have the support to meet their goals and the power to transform possibility into lasting impact.
