We have exciting updates to share about Aspire’s 2026 Financial Award Programs in the Extended Leadership Program (ELP). This year brings an important eligibility change that opens more doors for Aspire Leaders Program (ALP) graduates at every stage of their journey — as well as a full suite of awards designed to support your goals in entrepreneurship, higher education, research, career development, and beyond.
Eligibility Update – More Alumni Can Now Apply
Starting in 2026, ALP graduates are eligible to apply for Aspire funding opportunities at any point in their alumni journey, provided they have not previously received an award in the same funding program.
This is a meaningful shift from our previous policy, under which graduates could only apply in the round closest to their graduation date. You can apply for awards that match where you are right now in your life and career — not just when you graduated.
2026 Award Programs – Six Ways We’re Investing in You
Six programs are available in 2026, spanning entrepreneurship, academic advancement, career readiness, and global collaboration.
Seed Fund
Award: $200 – $500 | Applications: Round 1: Apr 17–28, 2026, Round 2: Aug 21–Sep 2, 2026
The Seed Fund provides early-stage funding to Aspire Leaders Program graduates developing promising social ventures, entrepreneurial initiatives, or research projects with the potential for real-world impact.
Community Action Award
Award: $5,000 | Applications: July 1–15, 2026
The Community Action Award (CAA) provides advanced funding to Aspire Leaders Program graduates who are ready to scale a proven social impact initiative or business venture. This award supports projects that have achieved a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or demonstrated proof of concept, signaling clear readiness for growth, sustainability, and expanded community impact.
Academic Advancement Grant
Award: $200 – $300 | Applications: Round 1: May 1–12, 2026, Round 2: Sep 4–15, 2026
The Academic Advancement Grant (AAG) provides financial support to Aspire Leaders Program graduates by covering the registration fees for internationally recognized standardized exams.
Skills Advancement Grant
Award: $200 | Applications: Round 1: May 1–12, 2026, Round 2: Sep 4–15, 2026
The Skills Advancement Grant (SAG) provides financial support to Aspire Leaders Program graduates by covering the fees for certifications, online programs, and skill-building opportunities that enhance their employability and career growth.
Conference Grant
Award: $500 – $1,000 | Applications: March 25 – April 1, 2026, Round 2: Aug 3-10, 2026
The Conference Grant supports Aspire Leaders Program alumni who have been selected to present their original research or innovation projects at international or regional conferences, summits, forums, and similar convenings. Note: You must have already been accepted to present at a qualifying event to apply.
Aspire Reunited
Award: $500 per team | Applications: Two rounds — dates TBD
Aspire Reunited provides financial support for cross-country collaboration initiatives among Aspire alumni. Born from a successful pilot and strong alumni interest in global networking, this award encourages teams to build high-impact projects together across borders.
How to Apply
Applications for each program open and close within specific windows — mark your calendar! When applications open, you will be emailed the application link directly.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Aspire’s financial award programs are highly competitive, with several thousand applications received each year and funding available for only a few hundred awardees. Please apply to the program that best fits your current need.
- You may apply to multiple programs, as long as you have not previously received an award in that specific program.
- Each program has its own selection criteria — read the guidelines carefully before applying.
